Module content | Patients with special needs pose unique challenges, especially in relation to the need for an inventive and carefully planned approach suited to each individual’s needs. This module will therefore equip the oral hygiene student to manage patients in this regard. The focus is on adapting and modifying the approach and management of the patient according to the specific need for instance pregnancy, physical and mental disabilities, medical conditions and age. |
